Our coffee is grown in Kyajubira, Masaka District, Uganda, where Robusta coffee has been part of the agricultural landscape for generations.

From the Farm
At JOKISSA, we believe good coffee starts with responsible farming and careful harvesting.
Our coffee cherries are carefully harvested when they are ripe and ready. After harvesting, the coffee is dried carefully before moving through sorting, grading, and quality checks.
The journey does not stop at the farm. Every stage matters when preparing coffee for the market.
The Character of Ugandan Robusta
Ugandan Robusta coffee is valued for its full body, distinctive character, and versatility.
Robusta is widely used in espresso blends, where it can contribute body and crema. It is also used in other coffee products, including soluble coffee.
