Germany–Uganda Coffee Origin Tour

In May 2026, JOKISSA Coffee Farm had the pleasure of welcoming participants of the Germany–Uganda Coffee Origin Tour to our farm in Kabonera, Masaka. The visit brought German coffee roasters, buyers and coffee professionals closer to the source of Ugandan coffee, providing an opportunity to share our approach to coffee cultivation, harvesting, processing and quality.

It was also a valuable opportunity to exchange knowledge, build relationships and explore stronger connections between Ugandan coffee producers and the international market. From the farm in Masaka to coffee lovers around the world, every connection begins at the source.

In March 2023, JOKISSA Coffee Farm was honoured to welcome the Kattikiro of Buganda to our farm in Masaka. The visit provided an opportunity to showcase our coffee-growing activities and the people behind them, while highlighting the important role agriculture plays in supporting communities and Uganda's economy.

As a Ugandan coffee farm, we were proud to share our work and celebrate a crop that is deeply connected to our country's agricultural heritage and increasingly connects Ugandan farmers with coffee lovers around the world.

Visit from the Assistant Ambassador of Norway

In July 2024, JOKISSA Coffee Farm welcomed the Assistant Ambassador of Norway to Uganda for a visit focused on coffee production and agricultural practices. The visit provided an opportunity to share our experience from the farm and discuss the role of improved farming practices, including fertilizer use, in supporting healthy coffee trees and better production.

It was a meaningful exchange of ideas and a reminder of the importance of collaboration, learning and continued investment in the future of coffee farming in Uganda.
